    Doha is located on the central-east portion of Qatar, on the coast of the Arabian Gulf. It is bordered by Al Wakrah municipality to the south and Al Rayyan municipality to the west, Al Daayen municipality to the north and Umm Salal municipality to the northwest.

    Doha experiences a hot desert climate. The warm season lasts between May and September, experiencing average high temperatures of 37°C, though sometimes reaching much higher. The cold season lasts from December to March with an average temperatures usually 25°C and below. February is the ideal time to visit Doha, when the average temperature is a balmy 20°C.
